About the role

  • Väderstad aftermarket support and training coordinator supporting agricultural dealers, customers, and employees. Planning product training, demonstrations, service support, and learning programs across North America.

Responsibilities

  • Work with authorized dealers, Väderstad employees, farmers, growers, and end users across North America and assigned regions
  • Provide product and aftermarket support across the Väderstad product range
  • Identify training and aftermarket support needs using field performance, dealer capability, product updates, warranty trends, service cases, customer feedback, and business priorities
  • Plan, coordinate, deliver, document, and continuously improve dealer, customer, and employee training
  • Provide product demonstrations across North America
  • Respond promptly to dealer and customer concerns
  • Handle technical and information requests involving delivery, product requirements, product problem resolution, and warranty
  • Coordinate service issues and update internal systems and affected customers and stakeholders
  • Assist dealers with key customer relationships during onsite customer visits
  • Meet regularly with Territory Managers to gather feedback and market intelligence
  • Provide internal departments with feedback on customer and dealer concerns
  • Resolve product quality and performance issues with Production and P&D
  • Manage an annual development plan
  • Deliver field issue presentations, non-conformance reports, ECRs, and field reporting
  • Support product research and development, parts installations, and parts sales argumentation
  • Work extensively with international service, sales enablement, and training teams in Sweden
  • Maintain an annual North American training plan and calendar
  • Assess dealer and employee capability gaps and prioritize training based on customer and business risk
  • Create, standardize, and maintain instructor-led, virtual, online, video, audio, presentation, assessment, and job-aid content
  • Coordinate subject-matter experts to develop, review, approve, and deliver training
  • Plan and administer training logistics, including locations, schedules, instructors, machines, tools, safety equipment, registration, communications, travel support, catering, invoices, payments, and records
  • Administer the learning platform and registration tools for external customers
  • Coordinate progressive learning paths covering diagnostics, safe operation, setup, calibration, maintenance, inspections, parts, warranty, and product updates
  • Develop knowledge checks and practical assessments and coordinate remediation or follow-up coaching
  • Track and report training metrics including registration, attendance, completion, assessment results, dealer coverage, cost, feedback, overdue requirements, and effectiveness
  • Maintain document control for training materials and revise content when products, software, campaigns, processes, or policies change
  • Share effective training practices and reusable content across North America, Australia, New Zealand, Sweden, and other assigned markets

  • Understanding of the agricultural industry
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing in both English and French
  • French, Swedish, and other languages would be an asset
  • Agricultural or farming experience
  • Knowledge of dealer sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques
  • Knowledge of building best practices
  • Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments, business partners, and customers
  • Some knowledge of fiscal management and budgets
  • Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills
  • Effective project management, prioritization, multitasking, and time-management skills
  • Experience coordinating instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced learning, including registration, learning-platform administration, attendance, assessments, records, and post-training evaluation
  • Ability to create and edit technical training materials using Microsoft Office, video and screen-recording tools, online learning tools, and approved company systems
  • Ability to coordinate and organize meetings, exhibits, and other events
  • Regular domestic and international travel exceeding 50% of the position
  • Ability to present to large groups
  • Manual dexterity required to use a desktop computer and peripherals
  • Overtime as required
  • Bachelor of Administration or college degree; mechanic or engineer; agricultural experience
