About the role

  • Senior Product Manager leading digital credit card acquisition, servicing, and engagement journeys for Vancity credit union. Driving roadmap strategy, conversion, member satisfaction, and portfolio growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of digital experiences supporting the end-to-end credit card member journey
  • Identify and eliminate friction across acquisition, onboarding, servicing, engagement, and retention channels
  • Own the digital roadmap for credit card acquisition, onboarding, servicing, engagement, and retention
  • Improve digital experiences across web, mobile, online banking, and partner platforms
  • Identify journey friction and prioritize enhancements to improve conversion and member satisfaction
  • Partner with Marketing, Digital Banking, and Analytics teams to optimize digital acquisition performance
  • Lead initiatives improving application completion, approval, activation, digital wallet provisioning, and early card engagement
  • Support growth through experimentation, journey optimization, personalization, and digital sales enablement
  • Lead cross-functional delivery of strategic initiatives, including product launches, digital origination enhancements, account management capabilities, and servicing improvements
  • Develop business cases, requirements, success metrics, and implementation plans
  • Partner with the Manager and agile scrum pod to define product vision, assess market trends, understand member needs, evaluate competitors, and prioritize features and releases
  • Balance growth, risk, member experience, operational impacts, and regulatory requirements
  • Use data, insights, market research, and performance metrics to optimize digital experiences, measure outcomes, and drive decisions
  • Drive continuous improvement by optimizing credit card journeys and processes, reducing operational complexity, improving efficiency, and applying agile product management practices
  • Report directly to the Manager, Credit Card Enablement

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 7 or more years of progressive experience in product management, digital product management, or digital acquisition within financial services
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives from strategy through implementation
  • Experience managing digital channels, customer journeys, product roadmaps, or product enablement functions
  • Strong knowledge of credit card products, payments, lending, consumer banking, digital acquisition, and servicing ecosystems
  • Experience developing business cases, product requirements, implementation plans, success measures, and product roadmaps
  • Strong understanding of analytics, experimentation, conversion optimization, and member journey design
  • Experience working within agile product management environments and regulated financial services organizations
  • Familiarity with digital banking platforms, CRM ecosystems, and marketing technology solutions
  • Experience supporting digital wallet capabilities, card acquisition journeys, or credit card servicing platforms
  • Product management certification such as Certified Product Manager, Pragmatic Institute, SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, or an equivalent designation (extra skill)
