About the role

  • Ozone Applications Engineer at Trojan Technologies focusing on innovative ozone-based water treatment solutions. Collaborating with sales and customers to deliver high-value solutions for municipal and industrial applications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, own, and lead Trojan Technologies technical bid strategy for moderate to complex projects
  • Review and interpret customer technical specifications, drawings, water analysis data, and other technical information
  • Perform calculations to size the equipment and achieve the required overall process design at a competitive cost position
  • Develop proposals to meet customer design requirements for new capital systems and demonstration systems
  • Identify technical risks for product offerings, evaluate the impact of the risk, and formulate strategies for risk mitigation
  • Use technical product expertise to instill confidence in Trojan Technologies offering
  • Interface with customers, engineers, contractors, and internal team members to understand Voice of Customer (VOC)
  • Travel as required as a technical expert to build or increase awareness of Trojan’s ozone capability and brand

Requirements

  • BS degree in Civil, Chemical, Environmental Engineering or other applicable experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in Ozone water treatment process and municipal project execution
  • Experience interfacing with external water treatment customers in the Municipal or Industrial markets
  • Experience reading, interpreting, and influencing technical specifications and drawings for ozone water treatment applications
  • Requires 25% travel
  • Must have no legal restrictions to travel globally
