About the role
- Full Stack JavaScript Developer building React, Node.js, and MongoDB features for Viv Technologies’ home care platform. Improving scheduling, caregiver management, testing, and production reliability.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain functionality end to end, from React interfaces to Node.js services and MongoDB data models
- Work on features across the platform, including scheduling and client and caregiver management
- Collaborate with product, QA, and fellow developers to scope work, review code, and ship reliably
- Investigate and resolve production issues, improving platform stability and performance
- Write tests and contribute to keeping the codebase clean and maintainable
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years experience in JavaScript development
- Experience using, or familiarity with, React, Node.js, and MongoDB
- Experience working in a collaborative agile environment
- Experience using GIT or a similar source control platform
- Enthusiasm for clean and tested code
- Experience leveraging AI coding agents such as Claude Code or Codex
- Ability to learn, adapt, and grow in response to challenges within the home care industry
