About the role

  • Engineer responsible for the design and modeling of Wagabox solutions to convert waste methane into renewable natural gas. Collaborating with engineering firms and ensuring compliance with North American standards.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate engineering studies: lead and coordinate activities of engineering firms, integrators, and suppliers involved in structural, mechanical, and general installation topics
  • Serve as the technical interface between local subcontractors and external teams (Process, E&I, Maintenance, and Projects)
  • Define study scopes, streamline technical exchanges, and participate in design reviews
  • Respond to subcontractors’ technical questions, analyze, correct, and integrate lessons learned (REx) into standard designs
  • Act as the reference for US and Canadian standards and codes (structures, support systems, engineering best practices)
  • Review and incorporate preliminary designs developed by teams in France, contributing to technical reviews and aligning solutions with local requirements and North American engineering practices
  • Contribute to knowledge capitalization by writing and updating internal documents, and collaborating to harmonize working methods across subsidiaries
  • Contribute to the standardization and continuous improvement of Wagabox solutions

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in structural or mechanical engineering; equivalent experience or training will be considered
  • Knowledge of SolidWorks, DraftSight and Bentley software is an asset
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in structural engineering
  • Good command of English
