About the role
- Dual-licensed optician dispensing quality eyewear and developing Walmart’s optical business. Guiding customers on frames and lenses while providing precise fitting and exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Reports to the Vision Centre Manager
- Provides expertise on ordering and dispensing quality eyewear
- Develops the optical business by executing programs and promoting the Walmart brand
- Builds collaborative relationships with Optometrists and other healthcare providers in Walmart and within the community
- Guides customers in selecting frames and lenses suited to their lifestyle, wardrobe, prescription, and price needs
- Identifies root causes, anticipates needs, exceeds customer expectations, and delivers effective solutions
- Provides customer service through accurate measurements, adjusting and fitting eyewear, and completing tasks with meticulous attention to detail
- Ensures finished eyewear meets high standards of accuracy and quality
Requirements
- Age - 16 or older
- License - Optician License - glasses and contact lenses
- Must be in good standing with the respective College of Opticians
