About the role
- Architectural Designer II developing commercial architecture concepts, renderings, and planning packages. Supporting materials research and design documentation at Ware Malcomb.
Responsibilities
- Develop smaller design tasks or modify design concepts
- Produce graphics using 3-D renderings, computer illustration and computer drafting
- Assist in developing and producing design concepts through 2-D and 3-D studies, by hand and computer
- Assist in completing planning packages
- Research and document materials and specifications
- Contribute to design packages and ensure the accuracy and quality of design elements
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in the field of Commercial Architectural Design
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or related field
- AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Sketch-up and Revit skills
- Familiarity with presentation, photo editing and modelling software
- Basic understanding of site and building design
- Knowledge of building codes and construction methods
