About the role
- Senior Software Developer in Test ensuring quality and performance for streaming software products. Collaborating with engineering teams and automating testing processes to enhance delivery.
Responsibilities
- Drive software quality through test strategy, automation, and quality engineering best practices
- Lead quality initiatives and contribute to technical decision-making for test infrastructure and automation architecture
- Review product requirements and technical designs to ensure testability and quality coverage
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks and CI/CD integrations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the product lifecycle
- Identify, analyze, and drive resolution of defects and quality risks
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in Test
- Experience testing OTT or streaming platforms
- Experience with connected TV ecosystems like Roku, Fire TV, Android TV, Apple TV, Samsung Tizen, or LG webOS
- Strong programming skills in Python or JavaScript
- Hands-on experience with API, UI, and end-to-end automation testing
- Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies and CI/CD practices
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools
