About the role
- Senior DevOps Engineer owning Salesforce CI/CD architecture, release governance, sandbox strategies, and automated deployments. Introducing AI-assisted tools for testing, code review, and deployment risk detection.
Responsibilities
- Own CI/CD pipeline architecture for the Salesforce Platform
- Define Salesforce sandbox and branching strategies
- Lead release governance across Salesforce environments
- Implement and manage automated testing and deployment processes
- Introduce AI-assisted development and delivery tools to improve testing, code review, and deployment risk detection
Requirements
- 7–10 years of overall IT experience, with 4+ years of Salesforce release engineering experience
- Strong hands-on experience with SFDX, Salesforce CLI, and Metadata API deployments
- Production experience with at least one Salesforce DevOps/deployment platform such as Copado, Gearset, AutoRabit, or Flosum
- Strong Git experience, including branching, pull-request gating, and conflict resolution in metadata-heavy repositories
- Hands-on CI/CD experience with one or more platforms: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
- Working knowledge of Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC) sufficient to troubleshoot deployment failures
- Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, or Node.js
- Strong understanding of Salesforce governor limits and their impact on deployment and testing strategies
