About the role
- AI Tutor refining Latvian voice, translation, and audio data for SpaceXSI’s Grok AI. Annotating speech and shaping natural Latvian language capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Help train and refine Grok’s Latvian voice and language capabilities
- Annotate, label, and provide feedback on multilingual audio clips, voice recordings, and speech samples using proprietary tools
- Translate and localize UI copy, prompts, responses, and other content from English into Latvian
- Produce clear, natural audio data capturing intonation, rhythm, accent, and other linguistic and prosodic details
- Collaborate with technical staff to refine annotation guidelines and tools for accents, background noise, speech variation, and multilingual audio
- Shape how Grok speaks and understands Latvian in a product used worldwide
Requirements
- Proficiency in Latvian at CEFR C1 level or higher
- English proficiency at CEFR B2 level or higher
- Remote work eligibility from the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, or Australia
- No visa sponsorship available
- Travel to a SpaceXSI site may be required
- Preferred: Native proficiency in Latvian
- Preferred: English proficiency at CEFR C1 level or higher
- Preferred experience in advanced transcription or audio annotation
- Preferred experience with translation or localization between English and Latvian
- Preferred experience in voice recording, voice acting, podcasting, or related audio production
- Preferred background in linguistics, phonetics, speech sciences, or speech/audio datasets and AI training data
