About the role
- AI Tutor training SpaceXAI’s Grok with Slovenian multilingual audio data. Annotating speech, recording voices, and localizing text to improve global voice interactions.
Responsibilities
- Train and refine Grok for voice interactions, speech recognition, and auditory experiences across languages, accents, and cultural contexts
- Provide labels, annotations, recordings, and inputs using proprietary software for multilingual audio projects
- Translate and localize UI copy, prompts, responses, and other written content from English into Slovenian
- Curate high-quality audio data representing linguistic and prosodic details such as intonation, rhythm, and accent
- Collaborate with technical staff to improve speech modulation, accent variation, noisy recordings, and multilingual audio processing
- Improve annotation tools for efficient audio workflows
Requirements
- Native proficiency in Slovenian with exposure to diverse accents, dialects, or regional variations
- English proficiency at minimum B2 level
- Clear, natural vocal delivery and pronunciation suitable for audio recording
- Strong auditory perception for speech, accents, pronunciation, intonation, and audio quality
- Ability to handle multilingual audio content and evaluate speech accuracy, cultural vocal expressions, and context
- Ability to transcribe audio accurately across accents and varying audio quality
- Ability to translate and localize text accurately between English and Slovenian
- Comfort providing high-quality voice recordings and feedback on audio samples in multiple languages
- Strong comprehension and independent judgment for ambiguous, noisy, or accented speech
- Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, detail-oriented, and organizational skills
- Commitment to developing sophisticated multilingual audio AI capabilities
- Personal computer must be a Chromebook, Mac with macOS 11.0 or later, or Windows 10 or later, if working from a personal device
- Must meet legal eligibility requirements; visa sponsorship is unavailable
- Preferred: background in linguistics, speech sciences, cognitive science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Preferred: experience with speech/audio datasets, annotation workflows, AI training data, voice models, translation/localization workflows, or professional voice work
