About the role

Responsibilities
- Design and document solution architectures based on Microsoft Azure and Databricks
- Define target architectures and technology directions
- Design the components, data flows, and integration mechanisms required for various solutions
- Ensure solutions align with the organization’s architecture standards and principles
- Analyze business and technology needs and recommend appropriate solutions
- Evaluate technology options and document architecture decisions
- Identify technical dependencies, constraints, and risks
- Collaborate with development and data teams to ensure the successful implementation of architectures
- Provide the necessary architectural guidance throughout the delivery lifecycle
- Participate in architecture reviews and ensure solution consistency with the overall technology ecosystem
- Communicate and explain architectural directions clearly to various stakeholders
Requirements
- Significant senior-level experience as a Solutions Architect in complex environments
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure
- Demonstrated expertise with the Databricks platform
- Databricks certification required
- Experience designing Cloud and Data solution architectures on Azure
- Ability to design end-to-end solutions integrating Databricks into an Azure ecosystem
- Strong understanding of data architecture, integration, and data processing principles
- Experience defining target architectures, patterns, and technical standards
- Ability to analyze functional and non-functional requirements and translate them into technology solutions
- Experience evaluating different technology options and documenting architecture decisions
- Experience collaborating with developers, data engineers, architects, and business teams
- Ability to guide and challenge technical teams throughout design and implementation
- Excellent communication and technical communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
- High degree of autonomy and the ability to work in a complex enterprise environment
- Experience in the insurance, banking, or financial services sector
- Experience in a large organization or highly regulated environment
- Experience with modernization or migration initiatives involving Azure and Databricks
- Experience in environments with stringent security, governance, and data protection requirements
