About the role

Application Engineer providing technical support for municipal and industrial water solutions at Xylem. Collaborating with sales and engineering teams to deliver effective water and wastewater solutions.

Responsibilities

Provide technical sales support to consulting engineers, contractors, distributors and internal sales teams.
Review drawings and specifications, perform hydraulic system analyses and recommend appropriate equipment.
Support the preparation of bids, technical proposals and project documentation for municipal and industrial projects.
Collaborate with sales, customer service, project management and manufacturing teams to ensure compliance with project requirements and timelines.
Deliver technical presentations, training and seminars (lunch-and-learn sessions, client events, trade shows).
Provide field technical support, including troubleshooting and site visits when required.
Prepare technical drawings, concepts and equipment sizing to support project execution.
Manage small technical projects and contribute to larger projects involving multiple teams.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental or Chemical Engineering (or a related discipline)
3+ years of experience in the water/wastewater sector or a related engineering field
Bilingual in French and English
Member of a professional engineering association
Ability to interpret plans, technical drawings and engineering specifications
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
Experience collaborating with clients, contractors or consulting engineers
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
