About the role

  • Diagnostic Account Manager supporting Zoetis veterinary diagnostic customers across British Columbia. Installing connected lab systems, training clinic staff, and driving post-sale utilization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a territory of diagnostic customers, emphasizing best-in-class in-clinic lab installations and utilization aligned with clinical guidelines.
  • Enhance the post-sale customer experience.
  • Oversee installation, set-up, and connectivity of diagnostic devices and online platforms.
  • Provide technical support and facilitate customer onboarding.
  • Conduct cyclical customer touchpoints for clinic training and education on diagnostic solution usage, maintenance, and clinical benefits.
  • Manage customer needs through regular on-site and remote check-ins.
  • Deliver technical support, troubleshooting, training, and education.
  • Upsell and cross-sell products, identify leads, and collaborate with team members.
  • Install and set up diagnostic devices, routers, network switch connections, Practice Management Software connectivity, and online platforms.
  • Coordinate resources, schedule calls, book travel, and manage the territory budget.
  • Maintain customer interaction records and report expenses promptly.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary qualification in biological sciences, business, or veterinary technology.
  • Sales experience required.
  • Strong leadership and relationship-building abilities.
  • Excellent planning, organization, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Skilled in consultative (solution) selling techniques.
  • Comprehensive understanding of veterinary hospital operations, including laboratory and clinical procedures, practice administration, staff training, and workflow.
  • Proficient in interpreting scientific and medical information.
  • Strong computer and technical skills.
