- Guidewire Developer focusing on customizing Guidewire Applications for Zurich Canada. Collaborating with teams on user interfaces, workflows, and business logic in a hybrid role.
Responsibilities
- Develop & customize Guidewire Applications
- Customize user interfaces, workflows, and business logic using Guidewire Studio and Gosu
- Configure and develop areas of PolicyCenter and / or ClaimCenter
- Inspire and develop a strong configuration team to deliver quality configurations
- Work on large scale projects including policy admin or claims systems
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Database Analysis or Programming area
- OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in the Database Analysis or Programming area
- OR Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Database Analysis or Programming area
- Experience working at multiple phases of database management
- Guidewire product configuration development and implementation
- Strong Object Oriented Analysis and Programming experience
- Strong integration development experience
- Strong JMS / Queue development experience
- Experience with analysis and resolution of Guidewire or other application performance issues
- Web service development experience / SOA and experience with XML and JSON payloads
