About the role
- Application Support role maintaining production environments for critical applications. Hybrid position in Toronto requiring 5+ years experience and collaboration with global technology teams.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and support production environments for critical client facing applications. Drive stability and service improvements by analyzing incidents trends and recurring issues. Collaborate with Technology Development Infrastructure and Business Product teams globally. Conduct start of day checks, continuous monitoring, and regional handovers. Develop and maintain technical documentation to support operational readiness. Partner with developers and product teams to priorities bug fixes and enhancements. Assess risk and impact of production issues and escalate appropriately. Support deployment activities including testing validation and post release monitoring. Provide functional and customer focused support for ICT application services. Analyze and priorities support enquiries to ensure timely resolution. Deliver clear advice and direction to business users and internal teams. Contribute to process improvements and enhance support workflows. Assist Senior Application Specialists with escalations and complex technical issues.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience. Required skills: Maintain and support production environments for critical client facing applications, drive stability improvements, collaborate with global teams, conduct monitoring and handovers, develop technical documentation, partner with developers, assess risk and impact, support deployment activities, provide functional support for ICT applications, analyze and prioritize support enquiries, deliver clear advice, contribute to process improvements, assist with escalations.
