About the role
- Automation Test Lead – Playwright/Python: Lead QA automation, develop UI frameworks, and integrate tests into CI/CD for a top financial client.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain UI automation frameworks using Playwright for web applications. Create and execute automated tests for Databricks data workflows, including notebooks and ETL pipelines. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation and delivery. Collaborate with developers and data engineers to establish and uphold quality standards. Analyze test results, document findings, and provide actionable insights for improvements. Ensure comprehensive test coverage for both frontend and backend components. Utilize JavaScript/TypeScript and Python for automation scripting. Lead future offshore QA automation team on test automation and execution. Support manual testing efforts as needed to ensure quality assurance.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Playwright automation (JavaScript/TypeScript/Python). Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipeline integration. Experience with data reconciliation and data testing. API testing capabilities. Ability to convert manual test cases into automated scripts.
