About the role

  • Bilingual HR Business Partner (Mandarin/English) for global banking institution. Strategic role in workforce planning, ER, policy development, requiring Mandarin fluency.

Responsibilities

  • This is a 'second-in-command' style HR Business Partner role that goes beyond traditional HR functions. The successful candidate will be a key advisor on manpower planning, succession planning, and regulatory governance for a Top 10 Global Financial Institution. Responsibilities include leading workforce planning, employee relations, and policy development under OSFI and Canada Labour Code frameworks.

Requirements

  • Mandatory fluency in Mandarin and English (both spoken and written). Experience in HR business partnering within the banking or financial sector. Knowledge of workforce planning, succession planning, and regulatory compliance (OSFI, Canada Labour Code).

Benefits

  • $95k–$110k base salary + discretionary bonus + 100% employer-paid benefits.
