About the role
- Cards Mainframe Developer needed for hybrid contract role in Toronto. Must have strong COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2 experience and understanding of mainframe processing.
Responsibilities
- Role Name: Cards Mainframe Developer – Hybrid Location: Toronto, ON Duration: Contract. Required Technical Skills: Strong experience in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2. Good understanding of CICS or IMS transaction processing, Mainframe batch processing lifecycles, Debugging tools (FAULT Analyzer, Abend Aid, Expeditor, etc). Solid problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Only for candidates who are currently in Canada and with valid work authorization.
Requirements
- Strong experience in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2. Good understanding of CICS or IMS transaction processing, Mainframe batch processing lifecycles, Debugging tools (FAULT Analyzer, Abend Aid, Expeditor, etc).
