- Our top 5 banking client is looking for a Data Scientist for a contract role in Toronto, with a duration until October 31, 2026 and potential extension or conversion to FTE.
Responsibilities
- Our top 5 banking client is looking for a Data Scientist. The duration of the contract is until October 31, 2026 with a possible extension or conversion to FTE in downtown Toronto and it’s 3-4 days/week onsite. Pay rate – $96/hr Inc. + HST.
Requirements
- 1) 10+ years’ Proven experience as a Data Scientist or Analyst, with at least 5+ within Banking or Capital Calculations 2) 5+ years’ proficiency in SQL for complex data querying and performance optimization 3) 2+ years hands-on experience with Python (basic coding knowledge) 4) Experience working with large structured and unstructured datasets 5) Solid grounding in statistics, data analysis, and predictive modeling
