About the role
- Information Security Consultant needed for 3-6 month contract. Responsibilities include securing enterprise architectures, leading incident response, and implementing security technologies.
Responsibilities
- Review and secure enterprise architectures, cloud deployments, and network designs. Develop secure architecture patterns, operational runbooks, and configuration standards. Lead or support incident response: investigation, containment, RCA, recovery, and reporting. Implement and manage security technologies: NGFW, EDR, SIEM, PKI, vulnerability management, email security. Contribute to service catalog enhancements, security standards, and compliance processes. Communicate security impacts and recommendations to leadership.
Requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on Information Security experience (engineering, architecture, or operations). Relevant certifications: CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or CCIE Security. Expertise with EDR platforms, NGFW, SIEM, vulnerability management, cloud security. Strong knowledge of security frameworks: ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, PCI-DSS, PIPEDA/FOIP, HIPAA/PHI. Experience managing PKI, certificate lifecycle, and enterprise email security. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams. Must be authorized to work in Canada and available for occasional travel within Saskatchewan.
