About the role
- Aarorn Technologies seeks a Java Solution Architect for a hybrid contract in Toronto. Requires 8+ years exp, Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and cloud.
Responsibilities
- We are hiring for a Java Solution Architect position with 8+ years of experience, located in Toronto (Hybrid-4 days onsite). The role involves designing microservices architecture, working with REST APIs, API Gateway, integration patterns, messaging systems like Kafka/RabbitMQ, SQL/NoSQL databases, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and strong understanding of design patterns, system design, multithreading, JVM tuning, and performance optimization.
Requirements
- Strong experience in Java (Java 8/11/17+), hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, experience designing Microservices architecture, strong knowledge of REST APIs, API Gateway, and integration patterns, experience with Kafka/RabbitMQ messaging systems, expertise in SQL/NoSQL databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL, cloud platform experience: AWS / Azure / GCP, experience with containerization: Docker, Kubernetes, strong understanding of design patterns, system design, multithreading, JVM tuning, performance optimization, experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins CI/CD pipelines. Preferred: Banking/Finance domain experience, exposure to Event-Driven Architecture, experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code, knowledge of security standards (OAuth2, JWT, SSO), Agile/Scrum experience.
