About the role
- KYC Banking Associate needed for high-volume transaction processing and compliance support in a banking environment. Pay range $17.60-$24.87/hr.
Responsibilities
- Process high-volume banking transactions, including bank drafts and everyday banking activities. Conduct KYC checks supporting compliance standards and regulations. Support daily operational activities to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and performance metrics. Review and support adherence to bank policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Assist with process improvements and contribute to quality assurance efforts. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure data integrity for all transactions. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, ensuring efficient communication. Contribute to audit readiness by following established guidelines and controls. Handle customer data with confidentiality and in accordance with privacy standards. Participate in daily team meetings to discuss workflow and address operational issues.
Requirements
- Post-secondary certification or equivalent experience in a banking or financial services environment. 4 years of experience handling high-volume transaction processing within a banking or financial institution. Proven expertise in conducting KYC checks and supporting compliance processes. Strong understanding of bank policies, procedures, and draft handling. Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook. Ability to learn new software quickly and adapt to changing systems. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting. Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with internal teams and external partners.
