Responsibilities
The Product Manager is a key contributor to the development and execution of CDS’s product strategy. This role focuses on managing specific products or product lines within the CDS services suite, ensuring they meet market needs, drive revenue growth, and enhance client satisfaction. The Product Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including the Commercial Team, Technology, and Operations, to design, plan, deliver, and support innovative and efficient products and solutions that align with CDS’s strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, technology, or a related field. Minimum of 5-7 years of product management experience, preferably in the financial services industry. Strong understanding of the Canadian capital markets and post-trade services. Experience with product lifecycle management and agile development methodologies. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, fluid, and agile environment. Knowledge of regulatory environments within the financial sector. Nice to Have: Knowledge of ATON (Account Transfer Service). Knowledge of Clearing and Settlement.
