About the role

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Architect role designing and building scalable marketing automation solutions. Requires 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience and relevant certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Translate business and marketing needs into end-to-end technical designs across the customer journey. Recommend best practices, identify gaps, and optimize platform performance. Design architectures supporting multi-platform and multi-channel strategies. Interpret complex requirements and deliver data-driven solutions. Participate in discovery sessions, demos, and trainings. Create clear technical documentation, including data models and maintenance guides. Configure Marketing Cloud instances (business units, users, roles, sender profiles, etc.). Design contact models, data schemas, and business unit hierarchies. Build complex automations, multi-channel journeys, personalized emails, and dynamic CloudPages. Use Automation Studio for SQL-based processes, data imports/exports, and audience segmentation. Develop omni-channel communication flows using Journey Builder. Build CloudPages including landing pages, forms, and preference centers. Create and deploy emails using Content Builder and advanced AMPscript personalization. Support advanced Marketing Cloud implementations (e.g., Interaction Studio, Datorama). Identify optimization opportunities in existing Marketing Cloud environments.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience. Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant and/or Developer certification(s). Strong expertise in Automation Studio, Journey Builder, and Email Studio. Experience with Mobile Studio, Interaction Studio, Datorama, and/or Audience Studio (a plus). Working knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or other Salesforce products. Proficiency in AMPscript, SQL, and Server-Side JavaScript. Experience with web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML). Advanced knowledge of SOAP and REST APIs. Experience with Marketing Cloud Connect and other integrations (e.g., MuleSoft, Heroku). Exposure to data lakes or warehouses (e.g., AWS) is a plus. Experience working in agile delivery environments. Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a team setting.
