About the role

Cloud Developer working on scalable cloud infrastructure to enhance healthcare delivery through data-driven solutions at Verily. Collaborates with diverse teams to ensure infrastructure reliability and compliance.

Responsibilities

Design and Implement scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure using automation tools.
Identify cloud infrastructure requirements, both functional and nonfunctional.
Follow cloud architecture standards, policies, and guidelines to maintain consistency and reliability across teams and ensure compliance with data privacy and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, FedRAMP).
Automate cloud infrastructure for Verily's suite of products on GCP as well as other cloud providers via Infrastructure as Code.
Automate cloud operations strategy to ensure scalability, performance, security, and disaster recovery.
Reduce toil of repetitive cloud operations by automating into self-service workflows.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field with 2+ years of experience in public cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS
2+ years of experience in managing cloud through Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, etc. and through GitOps using GitHub Actions, Argo CD, Jenkins, etc.
1+ years of experience with programming & scripting languages like Go, Python, Shell, etc; and experience in implementing scalable, reliable and secure cloud network solutions for a variety of workloads
1+ years of experience in establishing observability systems to monitor production systems and leading incident management processes to attain high system availability (99.9% uptime or higher)
