About the role
- Senior Business Systems Analyst – Retail Banking (Agile) role supporting a customer assessment tool for branch advisors, leading end-to-end product initiatives in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine business requirements. Translate incomplete or evolving requirements into clear, actionable user stories. Drive discussions and provide leadership when the Product Owner is unavailable, identifying gaps and helping prioritize work. Support the development and enhancement of customer-facing journeys, particularly in banking and financial services. Manage stakeholder expectations through effective communication and collaboration across business and technology teams. Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Ensure solutions meet business objectives and are delivered on time and within scope. Assist in backlog grooming and refinement activities to keep workflows efficient. Facilitate the end-to-end delivery of products, ensuring business values are clearly understood and achieved.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Business Analyst in an Agile environment. Strong understanding of banking operations, especially supporting branch users or customer journeys. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to write clear, well-structured user stories. Self-starter with initiative and leadership qualities. Comfortable working with ambiguity and actively driving work forward. Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools. Nice to Have: Experience supporting customer assessment tools or financial advisory platforms. Knowledge of banking products and services, including lending and investment solutions. Previous experience in a financial services or banking environment. Certification in Agile or Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CSBA). Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
