About the role
- Senior Cyber Security Specialist needed for a 1-year contract in Toronto, ON. Focus on Azure cloud security, incident response, and vulnerability management.
Responsibilities
- Support enterprise cyber security operations and security program initiatives, secure and strengthen Azure cloud environments and security controls, coordinate incident response, threat investigations, and vulnerability management activities, support SOC operations, cyber risk assessments, compliance, and security governance initiatives, and support security audits, reporting, vendor coordination, and cyber awareness initiatives.
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on cyber security experience, strong experience with Azure cloud security and enterprise security operations, knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, MITRE ATT&CK, and cyber risk frameworks, experience with incident response, vulnerability management, and security compliance activities. Preferred: CISSP, CCSP, Security+, SSCP, or GIAC certifications; degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related field.
