About the role

Responsibilities
- We are hiring a Senior Developer (Java / Spring Boot) for a contract position in Toronto, ON. The role is hybrid, requiring 3-4 days per week in office, from June 22, 2026 to October 31, 2026, with possible extension or FTE conversion. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (37.5 hours/week).
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience as a Java Developer with strong Java and Spring Boot expertise; 7+ years with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB); 7+ years with Redis and caching strategies; 7+ years deploying and managing containerized applications on GCP using Kubernetes; 7+ years with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices; 7+ years designing and developing RESTful APIs; strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and Functional Design; experience with modern JavaScript technologies including ES6, TypeScript, Babel, Lerna, Jest, and Protractor. Nice to have: 5+ years with React.js and Node.js; experience building scalable enterprise-level JavaScript applications; knowledge of application security, OAuth2, and SSO; strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
