About the role
- Senior Full-Stack Developer role at an early-stage real estate tech startup. Lead development from idea to production, build scalable backend microservices and React frontends.
Responsibilities
- Lead development from idea → production → live usage. Design and build scalable backend microservices (Python, AWS EKS & Lambda, Docker). Build React + TypeScript frontends served via S3 + CloudFront. Model and manage Postgres databases, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and production debugging. Mentor newer engineers and contribute to high-impact technical decisions.
Requirements
- 5–7+ years full-stack experience, preferably in high-growth SaaS or fintech startups (e.g., Stripe, Shopify, WealthSimple). Proven zero-to-one delivery experience. Strong backend + frontend experience; systems thinker comfortable with async behaviour, caching, and performance. High autonomy, low ego, and team-first mentality. Able to work in-office 3 days/week in downtown Toronto.
Benefits
- $160k–$170k CAD + 0.5% company equity (vested over 4 years). Hybrid role: 3 days/week in-office. Unlimited PTO (typical 2 weeks).
