About the role
- Senior Information Security Advisor needed for a Financial Services client. 12-month contract, hybrid in Ontario.
Responsibilities
- The Senior Information Security Advisor will perform comprehensive risk assessments for applications, suppliers, and projects, with a focus on cloud-based technologies (AWS, Azure) and SaaS solutions. The role requires reviewing legal contracts for security clauses and obtaining Canadian Reliability Security Clearance.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in information security or IT with risk assessment focus; strong hands-on understanding of AWS and Azure; in-depth knowledge of security protocols (encryption, firewalls, SIEM, DLP); familiarity with reviewing legal contracts; must be eligible for Canadian Reliability Security Clearance (5 years consecutive residency); post-secondary education in computer science, engineering, or related field; security designations like CISSP, CCSP, CISM, or CISA preferred.
