About the role
- Senior Java Spring Boot Developer contract for a top 5 bank, requiring 10+ years of Java experience and expertise in Spring Boot, SQL/NoSQL databases, Redis, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
Responsibilities
- Senior Java Spring Boot Developer contract until Oct 31 with extension, working 3 days in office in downtown Toronto for a top 5 bank.
Requirements
- 10+ years of work experience with Java & SpringBoot and as a Java Developer; 7+ years experience with SQL/NoSQL databases such as Postgres, MongoDB; 7+ years of experience with Redis or caching strategies; 7+ years of experience deploying and managing containerized applications on GCP using Kubernetes; 7+ years of experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD); 7+ years of experience with REST API design; knowledge in Object Oriented and Functional Design; experience with modern JS toolsets (ES6, Typescript, Babel, Lerna, Jest, Protractor). Nice to have: 5+ years as a React.js and Node.js developer, experience with oAuth2 and/or SSO, knowledge of Agile principles.
