- Senior Network Security Engineer needed for a 6-month contract to lead firewall refresh and network security modernization in a large enterprise environment.
Responsibilities
- We’re hiring a hands-on Senior Network Security Engineer to support a major firewall refresh and network security modernization initiative within a large enterprise environment. This is a delivery-focused role — ideal for someone who can step in, take ownership, and execute with minimal ramp-up. Responsibilities include firewall migrations, upgrades, and rule optimization; supporting Palo Alto environments across IT & OT networks; ensuring secure, stable deployments with zero operational impact; partnering with stakeholders on change management and outage coordination; and delivering clear technical documentation and handovers.
Requirements
- 10+ years in Network Security Engineering; deep, hands-on expertise with Palo Alto Firewalls (PA-Series / VM-Series); strong experience with Panorama, Prisma Access, SCM; VPN technologies (IPSec, GlobalProtect); routing (BGP, OSPF), NAT, High Availability (HA); proven experience in large, complex enterprise environments; strong troubleshooting across network & security layers (L3–L7).
