About the role
- Senior SDET needed to lead automation frameworks (Playwright, API) and integrate quality into CI/CD. 8+ years experience required.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web, API, and backend applications. Develop and execute end-to-end automated test suites using Playwright, build API automation solutions, implement cross-browser testing, integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines, perform database validation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Provide technical leadership and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience. 8+ years in Software Quality Engineering, Test Automation, or SDET roles. Strong programming in TypeScript, Java, and SQL. Hands-on expertise with Playwright. Experience with API automation frameworks (REST Assured, Postman, etc.). Experience testing modern web apps (Angular, React). Understanding of microservices and contract testing. CI/CD integration with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions. Working knowledge of Linux and Shell scripting. Strong database validation skills. Experience in Agile/Scrum. Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
