About the role
- Senior QA Automation Engineer needed to build automation frameworks for data pipelines and cloud platforms, ensuring data accuracy and validation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks for data pipelines, APIs, and cloud data platforms using Selenium, PyTest, and Python. Create automated controls for data reconciliation, completeness checks, schema validation, and anomaly detection. Design test strategies for Azure data solutions including Databricks, Spark SQL, Delta Lake, and PySpark. Build automated validation for REST APIs and data ingestion processes. Collaborate with teams to define test coverage and utilize AI tools like Copilot to accelerate testing.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in QA automation and testing complex data or application platforms. Proficiency in Python, Perl, or similar scripting languages. Hands-on experience with Selenium, PyTest, API testing, regression, and functional automation. Strong SQL skills with experience testing large data volumes, reconciliation, and data quality. Practical knowledge of cloud data platforms including Azure Databricks, Spark SQL, Delta Lake, and Azure Data Factory. Experience using AI-enabled tools. Excellent communication skills.
