About the role
- Snowflake Administrator role requiring 6+ years of database admin experience with Snowflake, SQL proficiency, and AWS knowledge. 100% remote position based in Mississauga, ON.
Responsibilities
- Must Have: • 6+ years of proven experience as a database administrator with Snowflake. • 5+ years of Strong understanding of SQL and database concepts • 5+ years of experience in deployments and on-call support activities • 5+ years of experience in supporting and troubleshooting batch, streaming and real time data loads. • 4+ years of experience in Snowflake applications (big data cloud database), writing efficient queries, as well as reading and understanding the query plans and writing stored procedures and functions • 4+ years of experience in cloud native technologies including AWS Nice to have: • Knowledge of data modeling and data governance best practices. • Hands on experience with Snowflake Notebooks, Snowpipe, Data Share etc. • Technical Certifications – Snowflake, AWS or other similar technologies.
