About the role
- Sr. Java developer needed in Downtown Toronto (hybrid, 3 days onsite). Must have 8-10 years Java, Spring, and microservices experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop robust, scalable RESTful APIs and backend SOAP services using Java 17+, Spring Boot, and enterprise design patterns. Work on microservices architecture, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and automated testing.
Requirements
- 8-10 years of experience with Java (preferably Java 17+), Spring and Spring Boot frameworks; expertise in Webservices (REST, SOAP), Java/Jakarta EE, enterprise design patterns; in-depth knowledge of Java SE features (Java 8+), microservices architecture; knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), build scripts (Gradle, Maven), and automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito); Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
