About the role
- Senior Network Engineer contract configuring Cisco SD-WAN, Prisma Access, and Palo Alto firewalls. Onsite 2-3 days/month in Toronto/Vaughan.
Responsibilities
- Cisco SD-WAN system configuration and deployment of WAN edge routers using centralized controllers (vManage, vBond, vSmart), including secure overlay setup and device bring-up. Template design and device onboarding with feature/device templates, standardizing interfaces. Policy definition and traffic engineering (centralized and localized policies for app-aware routing, segmentation, ACLs, QoS), including BFD path monitoring and TLOC preferences. Prisma Access integration: build Remote Network (RN) IPsec tunnels with BGP route exchange, steer Internet-bound traffic from SD-WAN to cloud-delivered security, and validate SLAs. Palo Alto Firewalls policies configuration.
Requirements
- Must have expertise with Prisma Palo Alto, Cisco SD WAN. Only candidates meeting eligibility criteria with required technical expertise will be contacted.
