About the role

  • Intermediate UX Designer needed for a government contract in Toronto. Must have strong UX/UI design experience, proficiency in Figma/Sketch/Adobe XD, and user-centered design skills.

Responsibilities

  • As an Intermediate UX Designer, you will be responsible for creating user-centered designs for web and mobile applications. This includes developing wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user flows, conducting user research and usability testing, and creating journey maps and sitemaps. You will work onsite at 222 Jarvis St, Toronto, with the Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement.

Requirements

  • Must Have: Strong UX/UI Design experience for web and mobile applications; Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD; Experience creating wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user flows; Ability to conduct user research, usability testing, and create journey maps/sitemaps; Strong user-centered design approach. Nice to Have: Experience with Ontario Public Service (OPS) standards; Knowledge of accessibility standards (AODA) and government digital principles; Understanding of web development limitations, network security, and protocols.
