- 7-Eleven Store Leader Trainee overseeing convenience-store teams, merchandising, customer service, and profitability. Coaching employees and managing in-store operations in Cold Lake or Bonnyville.
Responsibilities
- Execute merchandising and marketing initiatives
- Drive store profitability
- Develop the skills of the entire store team
- Ensure customers are well taken care of
- Oversee customer service leadership, training, and coaching for store employees
- Identify qualified applicants and develop leaders
- Empower employees and encourage productivity
- Implement merchandising and marketing programs
- Use P&L and store reports to affect change
- Manage cash handling and fuel transactions
- Promote the rewards loyalty program
- Maintain a clean, safe, presentable store and ensure products are in stock
Requirements
- Previous supervisory experience
- Ability to oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees
- Ability to identify qualified applicants, develop leaders, empower employees, and encourage employee productivity
- Ability to oversee and implement all merchandising and marketing programs
- Demonstrated ability to use P&L and store reports to affect change
- Ability to manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promotion of the rewards loyalty program
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with health and sanitation procedures
- Excellent oral and written communication and intrapersonal skills
- Proficient computer knowledge; Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
- High School diploma or GED preferred, but not required for candidates with at least one year of retail management experience
- Valid Driver’s License from the state of residence
- Automotive liability insurance throughout employment
- Ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
