About the role
- Infrastructure Architect leading IT solutions at ABB. Ensuring technology alignment, design, and support for multiple domains.
Responsibilities
- Lead infrastructure solution architecture across multiple domains, ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide and data architecture standards.
- Design, develop, maintain, and deploy IS solutions and related services for the business.
- Validate and prioritize business demand with the relevant IS Service Manager and/or Global IS Domain Architect.
- Remain current with new and emerging technology and industry practices, and bring learning into ABB.
- Consult on the installation of, or changes to, solutions/services.
- Contribute to incident management to fight ticket volume by detecting and eliminating recurring defects, and supporting issue resolution.
Requirements
- 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure, working with servers, network and applications.
- University degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or similar or PMP Certification
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills, with strong customer service mindset.
- Strong time management skills and flexibility necessary to handle periodic bursts of increased workload
- Excellent analytical skills, data analysis for requirements of the project work & deliverables
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
