About the role

Project Engineer managing the Quebec City Tramway project, ensuring safety, quality, and budget standards for Aecon. Collaborating with design and construction teams in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Act as the primary liaison between the design team and the construction team to resolve field issues.
Oversee work progress, ensure adherence to the schedule, and produce accurate progress reports.
Manage change requests, site directives, and relationships with subcontractors.
Participate in budget monitoring and cost variance analysis in collaboration with the Director of Construction.
Ensure strict application of Aecon's safety program and quality standards on site.

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction engineering, or equivalent.
Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing major infrastructure or civil transportation projects.
Excellent command of French (spoken and written); English is a major asset for pan‑Canadian collaboration.
Ability to work in a dynamic, complex construction-site environment.
