About the role
- Light Maintenance Worker maintaining cleanliness and repairing fixtures at Aramark’s remote Fort McMurray lodge. Supporting safe, functional facilities on a 20-days-on/10-days-off rotation.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas to meet customer and client satisfaction
- Repair fixtures and hardware such as doors, windows, minor appliances, and office equipment
- Inspect assigned areas routinely and perform maintenance as needed
- Complete scheduled building and equipment maintenance checklists
- Report major maintenance needs and recommend corrective action
- Use equipment and tools efficiently and safely
- Maintain a friendly, efficient, and positive customer-service demeanor
- Adhere to Aramark safety policies and procedures
- Complete required departmental and component training commitments
Requirements
- Strong janitorial experience required
- Familiarity with remote camp work required
- Familiarity with custodial work
- Previous maintenance experience preferred
- Ability to follow basic safety procedures and precautions
- Written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended walking, and standing
- Willingness and ability to wear uniforms and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Successful completion of a pre-employment D&A test and criminal background check required
