About the role

  • Drainage Design 3D Modeler creating detailed engineering drawings and 3D models for civil infrastructure projects. Collaborating with engineers on drainage and stormwater systems.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed engineering drawings and documentation for civil infrastructure and stormwater drainage systems
  • Develop 3D models using Civil 3D and OpenRoads
  • Support engineers in design and delivery of projects across various sectors
  • Produce accurate technical documentation that supports design and delivery process
  • Translate engineers’ design sketches into precise technical drawings and 3D models
  • Assist with quantity take-offs and provide basic cost estimation support
  • Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, and drafters to resolve design conflicts and maintain organized drawing records
  • Participate in project meetings and design reviews

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering
  • 4+ years’ experience in civil design, with a focus on drainage or linear infrastructure projects
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, OpenRoads, Revit, and related design/drafting software
  • Familiarity with hydrologic and hydraulic design principles and stormwater modeling concepts
  • Knowledge of relevant local and provincial design standards (or equivalent)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret engineering sketches and specifications
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Experience with GIS, 1D, 2D, and 3D design and modeling
