About the role

  • Leading Arc'teryx’s global brand creative vision, campaigns, and creative team. Shaping visual storytelling across campaigns, product, retail, digital, and partner channels.

Responsibilities

  • Set the creative vision for the Arc'teryx brand and establish the global benchmark across consumer touchpoints
  • Lead and inspire the in-house brand creative team around shared objectives
  • Oversee the evolution of the brand's visual identity and maintain its integrity across initiatives and campaigns
  • Develop disruptive, relevant global brand campaigns and 360 initiatives
  • Champion executive-level creative strategy for brand and product storytelling
  • Own the in-house creative production pipeline, including photography, film, and digital content, from concept through delivery
  • Evolve the brand's content and operating system in response to consumer behavior and digital developments
  • Build a global and regional creative and content model supporting local consumer needs
  • Build a culture of belonging within the brand creative function
  • Establish collaborative operating rhythms across the Brand Leadership team and cross-functionally
  • Define, refine, and measure creative campaign success in alignment with brand strategy and commercial outcomes
  • Pioneer AI and emerging creative technologies for content production
  • Expand the creative function into immersive, experiential, and emerging digital channels

Requirements

  • Degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field
  • 15+ years of experience in a communications or creative leadership role within a fast-paced, results-driven environment
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating creative leadership across global brand campaigns, art direction, and visual storytelling
  • Deep respect for the outdoor and mountain environment and culture
  • Experience leading global and regional creative teams in supporting a DTC-oriented business
  • Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and associated design tools
  • Strong experience across art direction, photography, film, graphic design, architecture, and digital UX
  • Ability to set a clear vision, align teams around common objectives, and foster commitment to deliver
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, facilitation, and diplomacy
  • Ability to work collaboratively across all levels of stakeholders
  • Sound judgment in prioritizing competing demands across a complex, fast-moving creative organization
  • Proactive problem-solving skills, flexibility, and adaptability in ambiguity
  • Ability to balance autonomy and collaboration
  • Commitment to breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
  • Passion for getting outside and living it
