Revenue Accounting Manager overseeing ASC 606 revenue recognition and close processes. Supporting Argano’s digital consultancy through controls, ERP migration, and process automation.
Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of revenue accounting
Own month-end and year-end close processes related to revenue recognition
Ensure revenue-related accounting and reporting is accurate, timely, and compliant with U.S. GAAP
Reconcile key revenue accounts, investigate discrepancies, and drive issues to resolution
Prepare and review revenue-related journal entries with supporting analysis and documentation
Partner with the Corporate Controller and CFO on revenue recognition policies, procedures, and internal controls
Collaborate with Shared Services General Accounting to ensure consistent coding and accurate journal entry activity
Assist with migrating acquisitions onto the Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP system, including validation of revenue accounts, deferred/unbilled revenue, and project setup
Perform technical accounting reviews of complex revenue contracts and transactions under ASC 606 and U.S. GAAP
Review standard and non-standard sales contracts, identifying multiple performance obligations and ensuring proper revenue recognition
Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Delivery, and Legal to optimize revenue operations from contract creation through cash collection
Drive automation and enhancement of revenue accounting processes and systems
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive experience in revenue accounting and financial management
Enterprise software and/or SaaS industry experience
Strong understanding of ASC 606 principles and US GAAP
Ability to work with cross-functional teams
Proficiency with large ERP systems
Strong computer skills, including advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to manage workload efficiently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
CPA or equivalent preferred
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 a plus
