About the role

  • Revenue Accounting Manager overseeing ASC 606 revenue recognition and close processes. Supporting Argano’s digital consultancy through controls, ERP migration, and process automation.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of revenue accounting
  • Own month-end and year-end close processes related to revenue recognition
  • Ensure revenue-related accounting and reporting is accurate, timely, and compliant with U.S. GAAP
  • Reconcile key revenue accounts, investigate discrepancies, and drive issues to resolution
  • Prepare and review revenue-related journal entries with supporting analysis and documentation
  • Partner with the Corporate Controller and CFO on revenue recognition policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • Collaborate with Shared Services General Accounting to ensure consistent coding and accurate journal entry activity
  • Assist with migrating acquisitions onto the Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP system, including validation of revenue accounts, deferred/unbilled revenue, and project setup
  • Perform technical accounting reviews of complex revenue contracts and transactions under ASC 606 and U.S. GAAP
  • Review standard and non-standard sales contracts, identifying multiple performance obligations and ensuring proper revenue recognition
  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Delivery, and Legal to optimize revenue operations from contract creation through cash collection
  • Drive automation and enhancement of revenue accounting processes and systems

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive experience in revenue accounting and financial management
  • Enterprise software and/or SaaS industry experience
  • Strong understanding of ASC 606 principles and US GAAP
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency with large ERP systems
  • Strong computer skills, including advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to manage workload efficiently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • CPA or equivalent preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 a plus
