Major Account Manager selling Arista’s cloud, data-center, and networking solutions to Toronto enterprise accounts. Driving sales strategy, executive relationships, channel partnerships, and account growth across Ontario.
Responsibilities
Act as the face of Arista to customers and their internal champion for business problems
Align Arista’s technical resources to achieve customer business outcomes
Partner with Customer Engineers, Professional Services, and Executive teams
Implement sales strategies to exceed sales targets across approximately 10–15 enterprise accounts in Ontario
Extend the Arista brand within targeted enterprise accounts in the Greater Toronto Area
Use a consultative selling approach to address hybrid-cloud computing and legacy IT system needs
Present Arista’s value proposition to influencers, decision-makers, and C-level executives
Work with systems engineers to design and position solutions that reduce total cost of ownership
Collaborate with technology partners to identify prospects and demonstrate solutions
Establish and manage channel relationships in the territory
Formulate strategic and tactical account plans based on business reviews
Conduct demand-generation activities, including happy hours, lunch-and-learns, and technology forums
Collaborate with peers on marketing plans and best practices
Monitor technology partner solutions, competing solutions, and competitor strategies
Report to a Regional Sales Manager or Area VP of Sales
Requirements
Qualified candidates must reside in the greater Toronto Area
Qualified candidates must have sold complex networking solutions in the greater Toronto Area
BS/BA degree or equivalent
7+ years of technology sales experience
Proven track record of direct selling into target accounts within the assigned territory and exceeding sales targets
Relevant data center or networking industry background, including LAN/WAN or SDN, from a technology partner, competitor, channel partner, or end user
Strong rolodex and relationships within the territory
Excellent people skills and ability to build relationships at all levels
Previous selling experience and technical acumen in one or more of: Networking, SDN, NFV, Switching, Network Automation, Routing, Data Center, Edge Computing, Network Virtualization, Hyper-converged infrastructure, or Cloud computing
Hunter mentality and proven technology sales track record
Ability to cultivate existing customer relationships and penetrate new-logo accounts
Ability to act as a trusted advisor and deliver business value to end users and key business stakeholders
