About the role

  • HR systems coordinator supporting Edelweiss Group’s acquired software companies. Managing HRIS integrations, employee data, HR administration, and AI-assisted automation in Montreal.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Group HR Lead with integrating newly acquired businesses into Edelweiss Group systems
  • Upload and maintain accurate employee information in the HRIS and ensure data integrity across profiles, files, and documentation
  • Facilitate live learning sessions and train newly integrated teams on new and existing systems
  • Own and maintain working knowledge of the HRIS platform, including capabilities, structure, upkeep, and workflow logic
  • Troubleshoot HRIS issues, support end users, and guide configuration decisions
  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive HR administrative and integration tasks using AI tools and HRIS workflows
  • Build and maintain simple automations using AI-assisted tools, Excel formulas/macros, and HRIS workflow builders
  • Support the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs
  • Support employees with day-to-day HR questions concerning policies, leave, and general processes
  • Provide general administrative support for compliance, recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and ad hoc projects
  • Contribute to smooth integration of acquired businesses and HR operations across the portfolio

Requirements

  • College or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience considered
  • 2+ years of HR administration and coordination experience
  • Experience with HRIS systems, such as BambooHR
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new, unfamiliar, or shifting situations
  • Comfort with or strong interest in HRIS systems and HR technology
  • Interest and comfort using AI tools for productivity and process improvement
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Technical background and ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities across integration projects and daily HR support
  • Continuous learning attitude and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good presentation skills
  • Bilingualism in English and French
  • Exposure to HR integrations in an M&A environment is a plus
  • Experience in data analysis is a plus
  • Experience with multi-country labor laws and compliance is a plus
