Responsibilities
- Participate in the design and optimization of essential infrastructure for mining sites
- Analyze, size, and optimize mining infrastructure subjected to high loads
- Provide leadership and mentoring to junior engineers and technicians
- Coordinate the production of drawings, models (BIM/Civil 3D), calculations, and templates
- Ensure the technical compliance of deliverables
- Manage project scope, engineering schedule, budget, and report quality
- Develop concepts and preliminary scenarios to support business decision-making
- Perform site inspections at mining operations for existing structures and works under construction
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (ing.)
- Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience in the design, analysis, and supervision of mining civil infrastructure
- Proficiency in Civil 3D and familiarity with mining-site practices, standards, and requirements
- Fluency in French required; English is an asset
