Responsibilities

  • Participate in the design and optimization of essential infrastructure for mining sites
  • Analyze, size, and optimize mining infrastructure subjected to high loads
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to junior engineers and technicians
  • Coordinate the production of drawings, models (BIM/Civil 3D), calculations, and templates
  • Ensure the technical compliance of deliverables
  • Manage project scope, engineering schedule, budget, and report quality
  • Develop concepts and preliminary scenarios to support business decision-making
  • Perform site inspections at mining operations for existing structures and works under construction

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (ing.)
  • Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience in the design, analysis, and supervision of mining civil infrastructure
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D and familiarity with mining-site practices, standards, and requirements
  • Fluency in French required; English is an asset
