Responsibilities
Participate in the design of projects integrating public utility networks.
Act as a specialist on Hydro-Québec mandates (supply to distribution substations, service connections, underground network extensions).
Organize and lead client meetings.
Plan and perform technical/site surveys.
Carry out design work, calculations and validations in accordance with utility standards.
Produce engineering drawings, technical specifications and cost estimates.
Identify and manage modifications to existing networks.
Coordinate with municipal stakeholders, consultants, clients and other organizations.
Prepare permit applications, agreements and authorizations in accordance with regulations.
Support clients during tendering/bid processes.
Perform any other related duties.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.
Licensed member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) or in the process of obtaining membership.
Proficient in AutoCAD.
Proficient in French, both written and spoken.
